Property Damage
So my neighborhood has all of the mailboxes on one side of the street. My mailbox is in front of my neighbor's property, who uses Curbside Waste.
On Dec 12, 2023, my mailbox was completely ripped off of the post. As you see in the picture, Curbside's bin is in front of the post, so the garbage truck took their trash along with my mailbox with it.
I contacted Curbside the following day, and I sent them the photos and videos via email. I received a response that they will forward this information to the owner, Dean, and will get back to me. It has been over a month now and I have heard nothing.
I called Curbside recently and they told me that they sent Dean my info again. I also emailed Dean myself and I have heard nothing from him either. I was going to the post office everyday (Christmas time, so I had a lot of packages) and it was such an inconvenience!
I finally decided to pay out of my own pocket to have a mailbox installed. I am very disappointed with the customer service I've received and would NOT recommend Curbside to anyone unless you want to pay for damage done to your property.

Resolved: Non consistent pickup.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They've resolved the problem picked up garbage every week consistently now.

High rates
- Hard to cancel service
- High monthly rates compared to competitors
Preferred solution: Upfront notice of how they raise your rates. You will pay more for extra bags. Even with there largest can.

Most people review because theyre pissed about something and then perspective customers only see the bad news. The truth is that no company is spot on all the time.
Ive been with curbside waste since they began after using several other companies prior. I have had only a few times over the years where garbage wasnt taken on my service dayI calledthey came either later the same day or the following day. Never have they left it for days unless I was very behind in my billing (and I do mean VERY behind-they have still picked up when I was months behind a couple of times). I have NEVER been on hold longer than 5 minutes when calling them for any reason.
Ive never been rudely spoken to either. I havent used every hauler out there but Ive had several and there is not one company that hasnt made the occasional mistakes mentioned in most reviews. Ive never experienced erroneous billing either.
Perhaps some of you freakishly irate people have treated others so rudely they gave you a little what for of your own.think about it. Its fair you get what you give.no one owes you anything you arent willing to give first.
